SCM to run retail trade for food products
A company Ukrainian retail, a part of SCM group of companies, has started its chain of food shops in Donetsk oblast. Some market experts think that Ukrainian retail, being funded with financial resources, can become a strong player, reports Ekonomicheskie izvestiya. SCM wants to make money on accompanying types of business. In March, the first shop of Ukrainian retail will be opened in Donetsk. SCM press service said that the company was really interested in development of its trade business. However, since this project was currently being tested on the market, opening of the company’s shops would not be announced. Ukrainian books presented to prostitutes
On the eve of the International Women’s Day, Ukrainian writers conducted a social initiative called Ukrainian books to Ukrainian prostitutes, reports UNIAN. The goal of the initiative is to overcome biases between readers and modern Ukrainian writers and popularize Ukrainian books among population. According to one classic Ukrainian writer, one can believe that a language exists only when a president of a state and prostitute on a street talk to people in Ukrainian. New player to appear on Ukrainian beer market?
Ukrainian breweries expect that this year a big international brewery will appear on the Ukrainian market. Petr Chernyshov, general director of BBH group of companies in Ukraine, thinks that either Heineken or SABmiller will come to Ukraine this year, report Versii. Some market experts suppose that one of multinational breweries can become a shareholder in a brewery Sarmat, which is owned by System Capital Management. At the same time Ukrainian breweries do not expect any significant changes on the market after a new player will appear on it. Currently four breweries, including SUN Interbrew Ukraine, Obolon, BBH and Sarmat, control more than 94% of the Ukrainian market.

EU asks Ukraine to lift visas for Romanians, Bulgarians
The European Commission for Foreign Relations, Benita Ferrero-Waldner, asked Ukraine to give up visa requirements for Romanians and Bulgarians, in order to help the adoption of the special visa regime between the European Union and Kiev, according to Mediafax, quoting the Ukrainian News Agency online.

Ukrainian Killed In Road Accident In Turkey
A Ukrainian citizen was killed in an automobile accident on the Antalia-Belek road in Turkey in September 7.
The press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Ministry announced this in a statement, a text of which Ukrainian News obtained.
According to the statement, the Ukrainian citizen worked as a guide for a tourist agency.
His body is scheduled to be sent to Ukraine in a coffin on September 10.
