Preliminary results of Presidential Elections 2010 in Ukraine

Voters Committee Calls On Electors To Check Their Names On Lists
The Committee of Voters of Ukraine calls on electors to check their names enlisted on rolls for the Verkhovna Rada elections. This tells the Committee report, text of which Ukrainian News has. “The Committee calls on district election commissions and the electors to boost the process of checking the rolls,” reads the report. In the Committee’s opinion, the rolls are of poor quality: there is a trend of using lists used in 2006 with their drawbacks, not taking into account changes made since that time, and in some cases the lists distorted due to imperfect software. EU asks Ukraine to lift visas for Romanians, Bulgarians
The European Commission for Foreign Relations, Benita Ferrero-Waldner, asked Ukraine to give up visa requirements for Romanians and Bulgarians, in order to help the adoption of the special visa regime between the European Union and Kiev, according to Mediafax, quoting the Ukrainian News Agency online.

Ukrainian Killed In Road Accident In Turkey
A Ukrainian citizen was killed in an automobile accident on the Antalia-Belek road in Turkey in September 7.
The press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Ministry announced this in a statement, a text of which Ukrainian News obtained.
According to the statement, the Ukrainian citizen worked as a guide for a tourist agency.
