Yuschenko Purchases Poltava Shirt And Six Dolls For His Children At Sorochynska Fair
President Viktor Yuschenko has purchased a Poltava shirt for himself and six dolls for his children at Sorochynska fair in Poltava region. He disclosed this at a press conference. «I bought myself a Poltava shirt and six dolls to my children,» the president said. He marked that he has not yet bought anything to his wife, but promised to do that. After visiting of the fair, Yuschenko went to Kyiv. It is planned that the president will visit a congress of beekeepers in Pyrohove. As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in the morning Yuschenko left for Sorochynska fair.
Yanukovych proposes cancellation of immunity from prosecution for all officials
Ukrainian Premier Viktor Yanukovych has proposed the cancellation of the immunity from prosecution and all benefits to all officials, including the president and premier and MPs, in early September at a session of the parliament, he said opening the cabinet meeting on Wednesday. “Let’s make this historic step and gather the session [of the parliament] in early September and unanimously vote for the cancellation of immunity from prosecution for everybody,” Yanukovych said. Tymoshenko - Caught on the Spot?
“Segodnya” newspaper reports that several Kyiv radio stations broadcasting Nastradamus ads are convinced these advertisements were paid for by Yulia Tymoshenko’s Block (BYUT). To be specific, a couple of radio stations in Kyiv confirmed that the Nastradamus ads they were currently broadcasting were paid for by BYUT. According to a source from one of these stations, Tymoshenko’s Block didn’t pay directly but used advertisement agencies instead to avoid ‘being obvious’. The source goes on to explain: ‘We received two audio advertisements – one included Nastradamus and another had Tymoshenko speaking to the nation.’ Legal documents and banking information submitted for both were identical. EU asks Ukraine to lift visas for Romanians, Bulgarians
The European Commission for Foreign Relations, Benita Ferrero-Waldner, asked Ukraine to give up visa requirements for Romanians and Bulgarians, in order to help the adoption of the special visa regime between the European Union and Kiev, according to Mediafax, quoting the Ukrainian News Agency online.

Ukrainian Killed In Road Accident In Turkey
A Ukrainian citizen was killed in an automobile accident on the Antalia-Belek road in Turkey in September 7.
The press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Ministry announced this in a statement, a text of which Ukrainian News obtained.
According to the statement, the Ukrainian citizen worked as a guide for a tourist agency.
His body is scheduled to be sent to Ukraine in a coffin on September 10.
