Woman Jumps Under Subway Train In Kyiv
On Friday, a woman jumped under the subway train at Poshtova Ploscha station of Kurenivka-Chervonoarmiiska subway line. Head of the press service of Kyivskyi Metropoliten Nadia Shumak disclosed this to Ukrainian News. She said that two witnesses of the incident saw that the woman threw herself under the coming train. After the train stopped, a train driver and station duty policeman pulled out the woman who was between the first and the second cars of the subway train. The woman was hospitalized. Official Unemployment Rate Down By 0.1 Percentage Point To 2.1% In August
In August, the official unemployment rate fell by 0.1 percentage point to 2.1%. The State Statistics Committee announced this. According to data of the State Statistics Committee, a total of 0.596 million unemployed people were registered with the State Employment Service as of September 1, 2007. Defense Ministry Planning To Equip Military With Ukrainian-Made Missile System By 2013
The Defense Ministry is planning to equip the Ukrainian army with a Ukrainian-made missile system by the year 2013. The press service of the Defense Ministry announced this to Ukrainian News. “I cannot say the number of systems that will be added to the arsenal and how much they will cost. That is classified information. EU asks Ukraine to lift visas for Romanians, Bulgarians

Ukrainian Killed In Road Accident In Turkey
A Ukrainian citizen was killed in an automobile accident on the Antalia-Belek road in Turkey in September 7.
The press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Ministry announced this in a statement, a text of which Ukrainian News obtained.
