Defense Ministry Planning To Equip Military With Ukrainian-Made Missile System By 2013
The Defense Ministry is planning to equip the Ukrainian army with a Ukrainian-made missile system by the year 2013. The press service of the Defense Ministry announced this to Ukrainian News. “I cannot say the number of systems that will be added to the arsenal and how much they will cost. That is classified information. However, I can state the approximate date they will be added: approximately by the end of 2012 if everything goes to plan,” the press service quoted Defense Minister Anatolii Hrytsenko as saying. The Kyiv municipal administration is seeking to build a monument to Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko and send it to Rome (Italy). EU asks Ukraine to lift visas for Romanians, Bulgarians
The European Commission for Foreign Relations, Benita Ferrero-Waldner, asked Ukraine to give up visa requirements for Romanians and Bulgarians, in order to help the adoption of the special visa regime between the European Union and Kiev, according to Mediafax, quoting the Ukrainian News Agency online.

Ukrainian Killed In Road Accident In Turkey
A Ukrainian citizen was killed in an automobile accident on the Antalia-Belek road in Turkey in September 7.
The press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Ministry announced this in a statement, a text of which Ukrainian News obtained.
According to the statement, the Ukrainian citizen worked as a guide for a tourist agency.
