CEC Registers Renovated Communist Party For Parliament Election
The Central Electoral Commission has registered communist party (renovated) for early elections to the Verkhovna Rada. The resolution to this effect was adopted by all the 15 members of the commission present at the meeting. Thus, the CEC has registered 30 parliamentary candidates of the 49 submitted this time. The commission called eight candidates excluded from the list, and denied registration to 11 candidates for improperly drawn documents. Prior to this, the CEC registered Iryna Kozlova as a representative of the CPU to the CEC. As Ukrainian News reported, the Communist Party of Ukraine (renovated) was set up in July 2000.

President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko will present today the nation-wide project “Ukrainian Flag to every family”. According to the press service of the President, the Head of State will declare about start of the action during the ceremony of presenting state awards on the occasion of Independence Day in the Secretariat of the President, UNIAN reports. According to the press-service, the position of the Head of State means that a flag as a national symbol unites all Ukrainian society. “Ukrainian Flag to every family” action is scheduled for three years. Yuschenko Purchases Poltava Shirt And Six Dolls For His Children At Sorochynska Fair
President Viktor Yuschenko has purchased a Poltava shirt for himself and six dolls for his children at Sorochynska fair in Poltava region. He disclosed this at a press conference. «I bought myself a Poltava shirt and six dolls to my children,» the president said. He marked that he has not yet bought anything to his wife, but promised to do that. After visiting of the fair, Yuschenko went to Kyiv. It is planned that the president will visit a congress of beekeepers in Pyrohove. As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in the morning Yuschenko left for Sorochynska fair.

EU asks Ukraine to lift visas for Romanians, Bulgarians
The European Commission for Foreign Relations, Benita Ferrero-Waldner, asked Ukraine to give up visa requirements for Romanians and Bulgarians, in order to help the adoption of the special visa regime between the European Union and Kiev, according to Mediafax, quoting the Ukrainian News Agency online.

Ukrainian Killed In Road Accident In Turkey
A Ukrainian citizen was killed in an automobile accident on the Antalia-Belek road in Turkey in September 7.
The press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Ministry announced this in a statement, a text of which Ukrainian News obtained.
According to the statement, the Ukrainian citizen worked as a guide for a tourist agency.
His body is scheduled to be sent to Ukraine in a coffin on September 10.
