Ukrainian Independence Day on a boat

Independence Day of Ukraine (Ukrainian: День незалежності України) is the main state holiday in modern Ukraine, celebrated on 24 August in commemoration of the Declaration of Independence of 1991.

Let’s celebrate this big day together on Lewisville Lake cruising into the sunset.

We are preparing a family-friendly evening with a buffet-style dinner and drinks included.

The celebration program includes our cultural treasure Veselka band singing, a Vyshyvanka contest, and a patriotic poetry reading. Please, prepare a quick presentation or story about your Ukrainian outfit and contest your right for a special prize. All the children reading poetry will be rewarded.

Date: August 26, 2023

Time: Arrive at 5:00 PM, departure at 5:30 PM sharp. Return at 8:30 PM.

$20 parking. Please, consider carpooling.

Children 0-2 y.o. free, 3-12 y.o. $30, 13 y.o and up $50.
